Here is a list of ingredients for handmade skin care product lines:  

aloe vera extract: aloe vera extract is natural and beneficial aloe product that contains vitamin B6 and B12. Adding to skin care products, it can heal, sooth, protect and moisturize skin and hair.

apricot kernel oil: apricot kernel oil is high in vitamin A, B1, B6 and C. It is a light oil that can be readily absorbed by the skin cells and it makes a great moisturizer for normal to dry skin types.

avocado oil: avocado oil contains a lot of vitamin A, B, B2, D, E, minerals and protein. In South America , it is a popular edible oil because of it high nutritional value. Today, it is used in skin care products to reduce the wrinkle. It can be used mainly on dry skin cells and also even for sensitive skin types.

carnauba wax: carnauba wax has emulsifying properties in the makings of lip balms, lotions and creams. From the leaves of Brazilian wax palm tree, it is one of the natural vegetable wax for handcrafted cosmetics.

cocoa butter: cocoa butter is used to improve skin elasticity. It helps prevent dry skin wrinkles and relieve stretched skin during and after pregnancy. Its rich moisturizing property is best in shampoo and shower syrups to soften and moisturize hair and skin.

coconut oil: coconut oil is another primary ingredient in soap making. It creates a nice lather and cleans well even in salt water.

essential oils: Many different essential oils have different properties, many vitamins and minerals. By combining different oils together, the result is an unique remedy for different parts of body. Soaps, shampoo and shower syrups with essential oils are best for its scents to create a steamy mood when showering. Lotions, creams and conditioners with essential oils are excellent on skin and hair.

emulsifying wax: emulsifying wax is a vegetable derived wax that is widely used in the makings of lotions and creams. It creates a stable emulsion of oil and water and makes a smooth and soft cream.

fractionated coconut oil: fractionated coconut oils is light and very stable oil that resist oxidation. It is mainly used in the makings of massage oils and roll-ons. Unlike the coconut oil, this oil is liquid at room temperature and can apply to dry skin for optimum result. 

glycerin (vegetable): glycerin is a by-product of soap making. We use all vegetable oils in our traditional cold process of soap making and naturally formed vegetable glycerin is retained in our soaps, shampoo syrups and shower syrups. Glycerin in skin care products can make skin and hair feeling silky smooth.

grapefruit seed extract: grapefruit seed extract has beneficial properties such as natural antibiotic, antiseptic and disinfectant. It is added to skin care products together with vitamin E and other natural antioxidant extracts to achieve natural preservation property. It is an expensive extract and often found in luxury natural skin care cosmetics.

jojoba oil: jojoba oil is a stable oil that is best used on dry, damaged skin. Obtained from the jojoba bean, it is widely used in many skin care products especially in mixing of essential oils. It also makes a nice massage oil.

olive oil: olive oil is great for skin care because of its mild property. Pomace grade olive oil is best to used in the making of skin care products. It contains a lot of vitamin E, an antioxidant to help against aging, burned skin and damaged cells.

palm oil: palm oil contains a lot of vitamins and minerals and it is a healthy edible oil. In makings of soaps and shampoo/shower syrups, palm oil is one of primary choices for expensive luxury soaps because it creates hard bar that cleans well with mild soap bubbles.

pro-vitamin B5: pro-vitamin B5 or often called panthenol is often found in shampoos because it smoothes and untangles the hair. It forms a protective layer on the hair to nourish and smooth hair in order to make a shiny appearance. Adding to lotions and cream, it also counteracts the dryness of aging skin.

rosemary extracts: rosemary extracts has antioxidant properties and has been used in food industry. Derived from herbs of rosemary, it is a natural herbal remedies for skin care products.

shea butter: shea butter has rejuvenating property with soothing and moisturizing effects on skin. It has been used by native African healers for hundreds of years because it provides UV protection, cellular regeneration and capillary circulation. Shea butter is best for anti-aging application, when used on dry, mature skin and fragile hair. We use pure and refined shea butter as one of our carefully chosen ingredients.

silk amino acid (liquid silk): silk amino acid is obtained from pure silk and it is sometimes called liquid silk. It works great in conditioner, shower syrups and shampoos because of its softening property. It is very easily to be absorbed by skin cells and hair follicles.

sodium hydroxide (lye): sodium hydroxide or lye is primary ingredient for traditional cold process of soap making. Vegetable oil is mixed with lye water to make soap, water and vegetable glycerin. We leave vegetable glycerin in our soaps to make you feeling soft and silky while the natural soap gently cleanse skin cells. When properly made, the lye is neutralized in the cold process of soap making to make the soap safe to use.

stearic acid (vegetable fat): stearic acid is the vegetable fat and it is used in lotion and cream making.

sweet almond oil: sweet almond oil is rich in vitamin A, B1, B2, B6, E and protein. It is a widely used base oil for many handmade skin care products. It can be used on sensitive skin types to moisturize and encourage cellular regeneration.

vitamin E: vitamin E prevents breakdown of body tissues. Vegetable derived, vitamin E protects vitamin A and essential fatty acids from oxidation in body cells. It can be used externally and internally. On damaged, dry skin, vitamin E is readily absorbed.

water (purified): water is one of the most important ingredients. It is purified to drinking level. Clean, fresh water is absolutely essential in hand making skin care products.
